Back in the day when he was known as 'The Batman'.This image was inspired by Batman No.1 'Professor Hugo Strange And The Monsters' from 1940.
I always liked the appeal of The Batman carrying a gun an taking no guff. A real crying shame they introduced (toned down) the strip by adding a certain lame Boy Wonder!!!!
