Rory Hensley/Tom Columbus = Genius!

This is a peek at the cover for White Heat no.1!

Rory Hensley did the pencils and inks and his good friend Tom Columbus really knocked it out of the ballpark with the colors. The guy is amazing!

Phew!

I promised my good friend Jon Lewis a while back that I'd do a quick sketch for his new art book that he's going to be selling at San Diego...

And then I completely forgot about it. Jon had been shooting me emails and they were going into my junk email folder!

Grrrr!

I eventually saw them late friday and the deadline for Jon was Sunday! So, on Saturday I knocked this one out as quick as I could for him. It's decent but I'm mad at myself for not getting to it sooner!

I owe Jon another one...and the next time I'll be spending a heck of a lot more time on it!

I did this drawing a good while back just for fun. I've included it in the second issue as a 'Classic Cover'. Waste not want not.

The cover is based on Wonder Woman #288 from 1982.
Apologies to Gene Colan and Romeo Tanghal.
