Thugs! Issue Four - Cover Image

Back doing Thugs! again.
This is the image I was going to use for the cover of issue 4. But it doesn't look the way I'd like it...so, back to the drawing board.

Ultramaiden Parody Ad

At last a decent update! This is that parody ad that will go into issue three of Thugs! It's only 90% complete. I have to forward it onto Rich and see what text he wants included in the bottom third.

Really fun getting back into things again.

Ultramaiden Inked!

Here's the inked version. Things are crawling along at the moment. I need to set up a proper schedule for myself or else it will be all work and no play...and the next issue of Thugs! will be sooo late.

Trying to get back into the swing of drawing 'Thugs!' characters again. It's been a while. This drawing is for Rich McAuliffe's 'Charles Atlas' parody ad for issue #3.

Thugs! - Classic Cover

I did this drawing a good while back just for fun. I've included it in the second issue as a 'Classic Cover'. Waste not want not.

The cover is based on Wonder Woman #288 from 1982.
Apologies to Gene Colan and Romeo Tanghal.

Rich did a really bang up job parodying the 'Hostess' ads. I really enjoyed drawing this.

A mock UltraMaiden cover! It's actually a re-creation of the cover to Wonder Woman 288.

Not bad...now that I'm warmed up...time to get some real work done!

Ultramaiden Warm-Up!

As I've been away for a couple of weeks...I've been a bit rusty. So, I decided to lossen up a bit and get abck into the swing of things by drawing a cover re-creation of a Wonder Woman comic...of course it has my own slant on things and features the one and only UltraMaiden from the Thugs! strip.

As soon as I get the whole cover done...I'll post it.
