This is a rough of page 6 in the next chapter of Deb Bonair. I need to shoot Rory a brief description of what's going on in each panel so he can start doodling again. He's been waiting a long time for these roughs...I hope it's worth the wait for him!

At last a decent update! This is that parody ad that will go into issue three of Thugs! It's only 90% complete. I have to forward it onto Rich and see what text he wants included in the bottom third.

Really fun getting back into things again.

Projects Update - Part Deux!

Bride of Frankenstein commission pic for Bluemeanie. Still have to get this done! And as soon as it is...post it off to Rich with the Tank Girl pic I did for Iz ages ago!!!

White Heat No.1 The only thing holding this up is the introduction piece I have to write for it. Other than that...it's done.

White Heat No.2 The Deb Bonair story in this issue has been completely thumbnailed. I still need a second story for this issue.

Thugs! Time to get back in the saddle on this project!


Lots of stuff to do...so little time!!!

Phew!

It seems like forever since my last update. A lot has been going on. Work has been keeping me really busy and I had my Grandkid (Don't ask, long story!) and my parents out for a few weeks. Now that everything is returning back to normal...I'll hopefully be posting a lot more regular and get some more artwork.

My next post will be a list of items/projects I have coming up.

Here's the cover for my new sci-fi anthology title featuring 'Deb Bonair'. Tom Columbus was the color artist on this beauty...over Rory Hensleys pencils and inks. I consider myself very, very lucky to have these talented guys work on my crap.

Tank Girl - Ruff!

Blue pencil rough for a watercolor I promised Rich McAuliffes missus and I also have to do a watercolor for Rich too!

Wasn't happy with this Tank Girl image. It's not 'cartoony' more serious. I think she should be very cartoonish, just like the way Rufus Dayglo draws her in the Judge Dredd Megazine.

Back to the drawing board on this one.

Projects Update!

Things to do... and things on hold:

1. Mrs. Browns Boys Animated Short 'Close Encounters of the Elderly Kind!' has been put on hold for the time being while I wait for an update. Still looking forward to finishing it. It's a lot of fun.
2. Tank Girl commission for Bluemeanies wife Iz. This is going to be a watercolor effort. I've got the reference, just have to draw it.
3. Bride of Frankenstein commission pic for Bluemeanie. I promised him this ages ago. Same deal as the Tank Girl one...all watercolor
4. Strontium Dog artwork for Rich's script. We might actually submit this somewhere when we're finished.
5. Thugs! #3. Gotta get this issue compiled for publication by the end of August. Again, like the previous print issues I have to go back in a swap and tweak artwork.
6. Thugs! online chapter 6. Gotta get this done before the webstrip catches up with me!
7. Finvarras Feast. have to write the outline for this fairy tale meets the commitments story I've had brewing for yoinks!
8. Irelands Own. An Irish gangland crime project I've been mulling around. Again have to write an outline for this sucker...and I've got a lot of research to go over too.

Lots of stuff...so little time!

No sneak peek because it would probably ruin the ending if I showed any of it. I'm just glad that I got this whole book finished in time for Shawn over at PKD Media. It was a long hard slog.

Now, I have to open up all my psd files and format them for PKD MEDIA and possibly 'tweak' a page or two...but as far as I'm concerned...I'm done!
